At Rigby Music, we offer carefully structured 1 2 1 music lessons in Stockport for adults and children, tailored to the individual and combining clear direction with a creative, enjoyable approach to learning.

We teach guitar, bass, ukulele, piano and keyboard, drums and singing — all built around the music you actually want to play. Using your favourite songs, lessons develop technique, musical understanding and confidence in a way that feels relevant and rewarding.

    1 2 1 Lessons can be booked flexibly, or you can book in half-termly blocks which reserves your weekly time slot and also comes with a 5% discount. Simply fill out our 1 2 1 lesson enquiry form and we’ll get back to you with availability for booking in and getting started.

  • We’re based in Stockport town centre, right next to the bus station and just a short walk from the train station.

    For parking, Redrock Car Park is the easiest option and only a couple of minutes’ walk away.

    If you are dropping off via Heaton Lane, please do not drive past the road markings that say “Bus Gate.”

  • Students are encouraged to bring their own instrument where possible.

    However, we do have instruments available to use in lessons if needed. (Drums, Keyboards, Amps and Cables are provided).
